Adams - Jefferson Compare and Contrast Glog                                  Name ________________

 

John Adams and Thomas Jefferson were both very famous Americans who lived in the late 1700’s and early 1800’s. These two men had a large number of things in common and their lives were alike in many ways. The two men also were very different in many ways.

Directions

1)      Research information about John Adams and Thomas Jefferson

- Use your book Ch. 3,6-8,10                          - Use your notes

- Old blue book pp. 316, 323                          - Look up other sources

 

2)      Make a double bubble, Venn Diagram or some other visual representation showing at least 6 differences and 5 similarities between the two men for Standard (8 differences and 6 similarities for Above Standard)

*** Note *** Unimportant similarities or differences will not count. For example: Both were men. Both were born. Both ate meals. Adams had the last name of Adams, while Jefferson had the last name of Jefferson. They had different mothers.

 

3)      Make a poster showing the differences and similarities

- You will be provided with poster paper                     - It needs to be decorated

- Include appropriate drawings or pictures       - Include color

- Be neat. They will be hung in the room.
